Peter Leadbeater

Peter is a chainsaw carver with over 14 years experience of creating sculptures for a variety of local authorities and private clients.

He has demonstrated his art all over the country and taken part in several of the large chainsaw carving competitions, competing with the best chainsaw carvers in the world. When demonstrating, Peter will perform up to 5 speed carvings a day. This allows spectators the chance to appreciate the skill and speed required to turn a log into a sculpture. They also have an opportunity to get involved and win a small carving by guessing how long each carving will take. When not carving, Peter is happy to chat about his work/techniques. In addition he will have on display an exhibition of old tools and completed pieces for the public to handle.

These items provide an exciting and dramatic display.

Peter is happy to donate one of his carvings made on the day of the event to be auctioned/raffled by the organisers. £540 (2025)
